Posted by Albert Fang as Web Hosting

A GigaByte is equivalent to 1024 MegaBytes, 1,048,576 KiloBytes, 1,073,741,824 Bytes or 8,589,934,592 Bits in the basic form of digital information storage, being composed of ‘0’s or ‘1’s in any combination.

When evaluating how much space is needed, accurate conversions are necessary for determining which hosting plan is best for you. To see your current website resource intake, login to cPanel or any other web hosting panel and you should see a section called “Logs/Referrals.” Click it and you should be able to view your daily website statistics. It is best to use this information as a reference to determine how much space is needed for your next web hosting plan.
